An entrepreneur from Princeton, New Jersey, Eric S. Poe, Esq., CPA has successfully led two companies, NJ PURE and CURE auto insurance. As CEO of CURE, he has been integral to the company’s growth, expanding it to 350 plus employees in the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Poe is also the chief marketing officer for CURE Auto Insurance, contributing to media and creative decisions, including co-writing scripts. He also oversees business strategy and growth, underwriting, claims, loss control, rate filings and re-insurance.

Additionally, Mr. Poe is involved with industry advocacy and governmental relations, having testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services in Washington, the New Jersey Senate Commerce Committee and NJ Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee and the Michigan Senate Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection and House Insurance Committees on topics in the insurance industry.

Over the years, Mr. Poe has been recognized for his contributions to business and law, such as his inclusion in the NJBIZ’s “40 under 40” ranking. In 2019, he received the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey Commitment and Achievement Award and the New Jersey Law Journal’s Trailblazers award in 2020. Mr. Poe was also named to the Influencers Power List of Executives and the NJBIZ “Leaders in Law,” both in 2021. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Colorado and a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
